What to say By Sue Lambert - BBC English

What to Say is a practical guide to the language you need when visiting Britain. It features Daniela and John, two visitors whose everyday conversations - at the airport, booking in at a hotel, ordering a meal, travelling, going shopping, and changing money - are recorded on audiocasscttes and printed in this book.

The dialogues are realistic and natural: they help you practise listening to spoken English and speaking it yourself. They contain many key phrases which all visitors will need, as well as a wealth of information about British life. Every unit also has a reference section with notes on travel, money, eating out, tipping, weights and measures and other useful topics.

What to Say is a reference book, phrase book and essential language course combined. Pack it with your passport when you travel to every English-speaking country!
