It happens to every writer sooner or later. You get started on a piece and all of a sudden it seems like you have no idea what to write next. And this feeling of being stuck doesn't go away in just a few seconds. In fact, it feels so permanent that if someone paid you $100 you couldn't write another sentence.
This is writer's block and no teacher has ever paid a kid to beat it. You have to beat it on your own. Fortunately there are several things you can do to get yourself out of this most uncomfortable situation.
