BRIGHT IDEAS contains itself a collection of the twenty-six practical teaching strategies aimed at trying out new ideas and sharing experiences in teaching and covering all the activities within an English classroom: reading, writing and speaking. Each activity is carefully planned and basically contains some parts: Rationale, Preparation, Tasks or Directions, Results or Discussion.
BRIGHT IDEAS has been made up of contributions from instructors of English in elementary, junior, and senior high schools and colleges throughout the United States. Reflecting a rich and colorful range of creative talent and imagination, this collection actively encourages teachers to strive to "continue their professional growth." English teachers around the world—whether their students are native speakers of English or are learning English as a foreign language — will immeasurably benefit through an exchange of enlightened teaching experiences.
