This allows the teacher to split a class into two groups and therefore minimise cheating. There are also two sets of progress tests designed to be used after half of the course has been completed, and after the entire course has been completed. Each test can be done in the space of 40-45 minutes.
There is enough room on each page for students to write their answers on the test paper, for ease of marking. After each exercise, there is a box for the teacher to record their marks, and there is a total box at the end of each test. Exercises vary in difficulty and as such, the decision how many marks each separate item is worth is left up to the teacher - although in most cases, 1 or 2 marks per item is clearly recommended.
