Sarah Burwood has worked as a teacher and teacher trainer in Italy. She has also been Director of Offsite Courses, Youth Programmes Co-ordinator, and Course Director for the Studio School of English in Cambridge. Until recently, she was an academic Manager for Young Learners courses at Bell Educational Trust in Saffron Walden, and she is currently working as an ESL/EFL teacher and freelance teacher trainer in Vancouver, Canada.
Helen Dunford has over eighteen years of teaching experience, and is currently working as Academic Director of International House, Portland, Santa Monica and San Francisco. Diane Phillips has been a teacher of social science, sociolinguistics, and English for thirty years, working with undergraduates, post-graduates, and teachers in a number of different countries.
She is currently a lecturer with the Open University and an inspector for the British Council Accreditation Scheme. Alan Maley is currently a freelance consultant, and Series Editor for the Oxford University Press Resource Books for Teachers series.
