Since students enjoy solving puzzles and decoding messages, many of the challenges provide the students with an opportunity to do this. Blank templates will be provided for some of the activities to give students the tools they'll need to create their own challenges to share with their classmates.
Most of the challenges have from six to eight activity sheets. As students tackle the first or second sheet, strategies are being developed and the students acquire an understanding of what is expected in each challenge.
Similarly, when the activity is taken up, the students may also learn strategies that fellow classmates used to get the answers to some of the questions.
As a result, each subsequent challenge becomes that much easier.
