Peterson Master GMAT 2010

In the tutorial section this book gives full explanations for why the right answers are correct and why the wrong answers are incorrect. However, once you get to the practice tests the book only gives the reasons for the answer that was selected.

Sometimes this is enough to help me learn what adjustments I needed to make, but all too often I chose an answer that addressed all of the points listed in favor of the correct answer but was for some reason not correct. Without further explanation of the wrong answers I was left unable to easily understand what concepts I was missing. Sometimes I could figure this out through reviewing the tutorial portion but this was time consuming and not always sufficient. A very frustrating experience.

Writing Skills For GRE-GMAT

For the Argument essay, outlining advice included quickly listing the evidence presented and then analyzing it. For outlining the Issue essay, the author suggests using a pro-versus-con technique for brainstorming both sides of the topic. Both approaches helped me to quickly organize ideas.
